Dr. Taylor has been with Bellevue Endododontic Associates since 1998 when he returned to the Pacific Northwest from Hawaii. Trained at the University of Washington, he earned his certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry in 1988. He currently holds a faculty appointment as an Associate Affiliate Professor in the Department of Endodontics and teaches in the graduate clinic one half day per week, two quarters per year. He is active in his local dental society, serving on the Seattle King County Dental Society Executive Council and as a delegate to the Washington State Dental Association House of Delegates. At the national level he is a Director on the American Board of Endodontics, the examining board for the specialty. Previous leadership positions include the Board of Directors of the American Association of Endodontists and President of the Washington State Association of Endodontists.
Active in the Bellevue Community, Dr. Taylor is a member of the Bellevue Rotary Club and serves on its Board of Directors. He is an avid reader and supporter of the King County Library System, serving on the KCLS Foundation Board.
Rick and his wife Frances live in Kirkland and enjoy walking, gardening and cooking.. Their daughter Kate is an elementary school teacher in Portland, Oregon and son Brian is an Ensign in the US Navy.
